Price, lowest price and auto-undercut

Pricing

When someone lists the same item for less, you see it in the listing detail (Lowest price widget). Your options:

  • Manual match: Set to Lowest Price.
  • Manual undercut: Set to Lowest Price − CZK 100.
  • Auto-undercut: the standing version of that button — see below.

  • Auto-undercut

Switch it on in the listing detail. Whenever another listing of the same item (same size, same condition) is cheaper than yours, your price drops one step below theirs — automatically, pass after pass, until it reaches your floor. It never raises your price.

  • The step is not a choice. It is one unit of your store's price grid. On a store whose prices end in xx90 that is CZK 100, because …390 and …490 are 100 apart — a 50 CZK step would land on …440, a price the shop is not allowed to charge. Only a store with no price suffix steps by 50.
  • At most 5 automatic undercuts per day per listing (price-war protection). The cap counts only the drops this feature makes: your own price edits and Smart Pricing markdowns are neither counted against it nor capped by it. The sweep runs every 30 minutes, so a drop is not instant.

  • Floor price — required for auto-undercut

Your floor is the lowest price you would still accept. You set it on the listing detail, in the Auto-undercut card ("Never go below").

  • Auto-undercut cannot be switched on without a floor. Without one the cutting has nothing to stop at, so the portal — and the API behind it — refuse to arm it.
  • Your price is never taken below the floor: not by auto-undercut, not by Smart Pricing.

  • Smart Pricing: an unsold item is marked down four times — at 30, 60, 90 and

120 days. Each markdown takes its percentage off the price the item carries at

    that moment, so they stack: a 4 490 CZK item becomes 4 290 → 3 890 → 3 290 →

2 590. After day 120 it never moves again. Your floor price stops it earlier

    if you set one.
